Blank pages after uploading files for 7.1.1 upgrade

Hello,

I'm having a problem while trying to upgrade to 7.1.1 from 6.3.1 Manual upgrading.

I uploaded all files replacing old files and when I go to the admin area to trigger the upgrade I only get a blank page. I went back to backup files 6.3.1. It works fine.

I uploaded the files again in order to proceed with the upgrade and I have the same problem, blank pages. I went to backup files 6.3.1 and it works fine.

This morning I deleted all files on the server and uploaded the 7.1.1 files thinking there could be some old files conflicting with new ones. Blank pages again.

I had to go back to backup files again.

What could be happening here?

are you using a custom theme and not "Six"?

is the server v7 compatible? System Requirements

did you enable error reporting so that there might be a clue as to what is occurring ? Blank Pages

Whats going on with using six theme vs anything else with 7.1?

does your server meet the v7 system requirements?

Ver 7.1 intalled! Ioncube loader was not the needed version.

All working fine now.
