  1. Go to: System Settings > General > Support Tab Support Ticket Mask Format Key: %A - Uppercase letter | %a - Lowercase letter | %n - Number | %y - Year | %m - Month | %d - Day | %i - Ticket ID

  3. Would like some direction / guidance to add a Quick Shortcut from the WHMCS > My Products & Services > Product Details > Quick Shortcuts to a third party cPanel Plugin. Specifically we use the Installatron Applications Installer. We'd like to add a Quick Shortcut to allow our customers to link directly from WHMCS to the cPanel Installatron plugin. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
  4. We are experiencing the same problem. The path to the attachments directory is correct, permissions and ownership are correct and there are no problems receiving tickets with attachments. The explanation that there may be "an attachment that has already been removed" is noted. Don't leave us hanging here. Please follow through with a solution. Thank you, Uwe Schneider
  5. Update to Android App - I was able to install it via the Marketplace, however, it would only force close. Which has now led me to believe that it will not run on the Verizon Wireless Motorola Devour. I put in a support request and I got a response - so I thought I would include the version information provided here - as it is not listed in the applications specifications yet "The latest aWHMCS release requires Android 2.0+." CJ
  6. I have purchased and downloaded the Android App. I have tried to download it from all links provided in your documentation. It appears to have downloaded from the MarketPlace, however, when I try to start it - it goes to a Force Close screen. When I try to download it from the other two links provided I get errors. Please advise. CJ
  7. You can remove the following <div></div> section from the viewcart.tpl template of the order form that begins with the following: <div id="ccinputform"{if $selectedgatewaytype neq "CC"} style="display:none;"{/if}> HTH. Cheers, Uwe Schneider
  8. I hadn't noticed the "Mail in Payment" Gateway option. Exactly what we were looking for. Thanks a million. Cheers, Uwe Schneider
  9. We have a significant number of customers who for various reasons pay by check. So far we haven't found any facility within WHMCS for managing a payment made by check. We're looking for a way to mark an invoice paid and recording a check number for cross reference and/or offer a customer a way to indicate that they want to pay by check and input a check number. Any insight as to a method to accomplish this or how others handle this would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Uwe Schneider
  10. Thanks jgross, these and the accompanying articles are a great overview re PCI Compliance. All of the posters to this thread should read them. It will answer many questions. Cheers, Uwe Schneider
  11. Passing a PCI scan is only the tip of the iceberg. Keep in mind that there other requirements such as PA-DSS to meet. In the end it may be the merchant or bank that sets what software it will accept. This is paraphrased from the https://www.pcisecuritystandards.org/ website: When 7/1/2010 rolls around: Acquirers must ensure their merchants, VNPs and agents use only PABP-compliant applications, which means that: As of 7/1/2010, you must use PA-DSS certified e-commerce software on your web site. As I stated above, there is a lot more to this issue than meets the eye.
  12. What are WHMCS plans for addressing PCI Compliance and PA-DSS in particular? Thank you, Uwe Schneider AlpineWeb Design http://alpineweb.com/
